Ben Lane has been the youth leader at Open Door since summer of 2010. He grew up in a Christian home, where his father was a youth pastor for many years before becoming a senior Pastor. Ben accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 5 and dedicated his life to His service at the age of 17. Working with youth, Ben enjoys the opportunity to not only help the teens but also to grow closer to God through this ministry. He met his wife, Holly, at Pensacola Christian College and was married on May 8, 2009. They have been attending and serving together at Open Door ever since.
Holly Lane grew up in a military family which allowed her to live in Alaska for five years before her father retired in Prattville, Alabama. She was saved at the age of six and dedicated her life to Christian service at the age of 13. She attended Open Door Baptist Church throughout her teenage years and feels honored and delighted to serve here now through youth group and playing the piano.
Joe Nolin, Jr. became a member of Open Door Baptist Church in October 2008 and accepted the position of Congregational Song Leader in November. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Christian Education from Southwestern College in Phoenix, AZ. Joe accepted Christ on May 10, 1978, during a Christian school chapel service. He was called into full-time ministry on July 17, 1980, while attending a Youth Conference. Joe has been serving as a Christian educator for over 20 years. He presently teaches third grade at Victory Baptist School.
